Oxford!

I got to Oxford on Monday, October 5th, checked into the hostel, and immediately went to see Christ Church College.

This tower is the oldest building in Oxford. It was built by the Saxons in the 11th Century.

Unfortunately the Great Hall at Christ Church, recently of Harry Potter fame, was closed when I visited. But this great hall, at another college, was pretty impressive.
I discovered this river walk which runs through the woods behind the colleges and which became one of my favorite places in Oxford.
